Henry Mitchell III has served Douglas County District 1 through five, four-year terms as a true public servant. He's one of the few commissioners who has never voted for a property tax increase — and a leader who's willing to answer the phone, and the tough questions.

A few times a year, Commissioner Mitchell sits down with residents over coffee for an open, unscripted conversation — no podium, just real answers to real questions, from a commissioner who's for the whole county.

Small Businesses Behind The Counter
Small businesses are catalysts to the success of Douglas County. This program gives local business owners an opportunity to tell their story, showcase what they do, and introduce their business to the community.
We currently feature approximately four businesses per month, with one episode released each week.
Youth Conversations
A Seat At The Table For Our Youth
Young people sit down with Commissioner Mitchell in a relaxed restaurant setting — eating together, asking questions, talking about their experiences, discussing their community, and sharing what they'd like to see for the future.
